They lead a team of investment professionals possessing extensive sector knowledge and proven execution experience.

    Jerker co-founded Blue Water Energy in 2011. Jerker’s responsibilities range from deal origination and structuring to execution, monitoring and exit strategy evaluation. Jerker is involved in investment activities throughout the entire energy industry, with particular expertise in global capital markets.

    Jerker was previously the Global Head of Institutional Equities at Morgan Stanley, where his 22-year tenure featured involvement across various capital markets, then CEO of UBS Investment Bank. Jerker holds an MSc degree in Economics from Stockholm School of Economics and an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business. Jerker now serves on the boards of Epic Midstream, GPS Group, Stena International S.A., Stena Fastigheter and FAM AB – part of The Wallenberg Foundations – and is a Trustee of The Morgan Library and Museum. Jerker is also a member of The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.

    Tom co-founded Blue Water Energy in 2011. Tom’s responsibilities range from deal origination and structuring to execution, monitoring and exit strategy evaluation. Tom is involved in investment activities throughout the entire energy industry, with particular expertise in the midstream and services sectors. He has over 25 years of private equity experience. 

    Before Blue Water Energy, Tom served as Managing Director and, from 2006, Head of the London office of First Reserve Corporation. Tom holds an A.B. degree Magna Cum Laude in Economics from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business. Tom has served in recent years as a director on the boards of Aquilex Corp., Dresser, Inc., Dresser-Rand Group, Inc., Quanta Services, Inc. and Bahamas Oil Refining Company International Limited (BORCO). Tom is currently the Chairman of Epic Midstream and on the board of Halvorsen AS.

    Graeme co-founded Blue Water Energy in 2011. Graeme’s responsibilities range from deal origination and structuring to execution, monitoring and exit strategy evaluation. Graeme is involved in investment activities across the entire energy industry.

    Graeme has particular expertise in the worldwide oil & gas reserves and oilfield services sectors of the industry. He has over 20 years of private equity experience. Before joining Blue Water Energy, he was Partner and Head of Oil & Gas at 3i, a UK-based private equity firm. Prior to joining 3i in 1995, Graeme was a Brand Manager at Unilever. He holds an M.A. (Hons) degree in Geography and Political Science from the University of Dundee.

    Graeme served as a board member of Agora Oil & Gas until 2012 where, as part of the management team, a trade sale to Cairn Energy was completed. Graeme is currently a board member of, Unique Maritime Group, Siccar Point Energy, Wellesley Petroleum, Drilling Systems Ltd and px Group.

    Mark Dickinson joined Blue Water Energy in June 2015 as a Managing Director. Mark has almost 20 years of PE investing experience and brings a strong investment track record from his previous roles at 3i and, more recently, Arle Capital Partners. Mark, while previously a consultant for us, introduced Kentech that went on to be one of our 2015 investments. He is an ACA and holds an LLB from the University of Hull. Mark currently serves on the board of Kentech, Halvorsen AS and Galileo Technologies.

    Martin joined Blue Water Energy in 2013 and his responsibilities include deal origination, structuring/execution, monitoring and exit. Martin has specialised in the oilfield services sector for the past 13 years, including roles at RBC Capital Markets, HitecVision Private Equity and KPMG Corporate Finance. He holds a degree in Accountancy and Finance from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh, and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. Martin is currently a board member of Unique Group, Drilling Systems Ltd, Kentech and GPS Group.

    Gran joined Blue Water Energy in 2012 and his responsibilities range from deal origination and structuring to due diligence, execution and monitoring. Gran's previous roles include Senior Associate at Apax Partners, and  Associate at First Reserve International and First Reserve Corporation. Prior to those roles, he was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Power group at Citigroup. Gran currently serves on the board of px Group. Gran holds a B.B.A. degree, Summa Cum Laude, from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

    Joined Blue Water Energy in 2016. Arne has broad international oil and gas sector experience following a 23-year career at Aker Maritime (subsequently part of Aker Kværner and Aker Solutions) in both Oslo, Norway and Houston, Texas, culminating in the role of Executive Vice President Finance and Operations.

    Additionally, Arne has over 12 years of experience working in the oil and gas private equity sector, where he led extensive organic and add-on value creation efforts resulting in five successful exits over that same period. In 2004, he was appointed President and CEO of Epcon Offshore AS by lead investor 3i. In 2006, he was appointed Executive Vice President M&A and Projects at AGR Group, where he subsequently served as Deputy CEO and EVP of Group Functions. In 2008, Arne joined Vector Group, another Norwegian private equity-owned business, as President and CEO. In 2010, Arne was appointed President and CEO of AT Group AS / Technor Technology Group. Most recently, Arne served as CEO and co-owner of BOLT Construction AS.

    Arne hold degrees from the Norwegian Military Academy and the Norwegian School of Management, Oslo (BI).

    Andy Winser has broad downstream oil experience. He worked in Shell for 38 years until 2013 starting as a refinery production Chemical Engineer, before moving into refinery logistics, blending and production planning.

    Mr Winser spent some time in production management, then in supply chain and trading. From 1998 he managed several major mergers and acquisitions in Europe and the East, then moved to the London trading floor firstly to manage refinery crude oil supply before becoming the Global Leader for Oil Trading Business Development in 2007.

    Matthew joined Blue Water Energy in 2011 and his responsibilities range from deal origination and structuring to due diligence, execution and monitoring. He was previously an Associate at First Reserve International and First Reserve Corporation and, prior to then, an Investment Banking Analyst in the Natural Resources group at Lehman Brothers. He holds a B.B.A. degree with High Distinction from Emory University and serves on the Goizueta Business School Alumni Association Board of Emory University.

    Vincent joined Blue Water Energy in 2012 and his responsibilities range from deal origination and structuring to due diligence, execution and monitoring. He was previously an Associate at Advent International in the Industrial Practice and, prior to then, a Corporate Advisory Analyst in the Financial Restructuring Team at Blackstone and an Associate at L.E.K Consulting. Vincent currently serves on the board of Excellence Logging (EXLOG). Vincent holds an MA, MEng (Hons) in Manufacturing Engineering and Management, University of Cambridge (Trinity College).

    Khash joined Blue Water Energy in 2013 and his responsibilities range from deal origination and structuring to due diligence, execution and monitoring. He was previously an Analyst in the Energy group at Warburg Pincus and, prior to then, an Investment Banking Analyst in the Energy & Power group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He holds a MA (Hons) degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge. Khash is currently a board director of Siccar Point Energy and Wellesley Petroleum.

Nils was previously an Associate at Terra Firma Capital Partners and, before then, an Associate in the Corporate Finance & Restructuring group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Nils started his career in Paris as an Investment Banking Analyst at Rothschild & Cie. He holds an MSc. degree from EDHEC Business School in France.

Salil was previously a Director in the Corporate Finance division at Ruspetro Plc and, before then, an Investment Banking Associate in the Basic Industries group at Citigroup. He holds a BA (Hons) degree in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford.

Pal was previously an Investment Banking Analyst in the EMEA Diversified Industries & Real Assets group at J.P. Morgan in London. Pal holds an MSc in Finance from Corvinus University Budapest and also a Masters in International Management from the National University of Singapore (CEMS MiM).

    Ekaterina joined Blue Water Energy in 2014 and her responsibilities include financial modelling, due diligence, execution and monitoring. Ekaterina was previously an Associate in the Debt Fund Management team, Merchant Banking division at NM Rothschild & Sons and prior to that an Analyst in the Utilities, Transport Infrastructure team, Global Financial Advisory division of NM Rothschild & Sons. Ekaterina holds a BSc in Financial Management and a BSc in Linguistics from Kazan State University. She also holds an MBus in Global Business Analysis from Manchester Business School.

    Lun Nie, Associate, joined Blue Water Energy in 2016. Lun’s responsibilities include financial modelling, due diligence, execution and monitoring. Prior to joining Blue Water Energy, Lun was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Industrials team at Lazard in London. Lun holds an MSc in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Management (Finance & Accounting) from the University of Manchester.
